Life After Apocalypse

‘Life After Apocalypse’ is inspired by hyper-naturalist depictions of paradise as found in the leaflets of a religious sect. They serve as reference to a modified, satirical version of the imagined “peaceful new world”. The serial attempts to examine these sceneries with an analytic eye, to single out their aesthetic components, to rearrange and to alter them – up to a point where its sheer absurdity leads to the dissolution of Arcadia.
